I have a Favourite team (due to the fact they are my local team - Williams)

but we all focus on a driver, a team is a bit too anonymous.

Yes, I would have preferred to see him stay at Mclaren for a while longer but, there you go. I normally just like individual drivers.

Team mostly (Sauber/BMW and McLaren) but have been a fan of DC since he entered F1. I was a big Massa fan, until he started driving for Ferrari. Hopefully Kubica won't make that mistake.

Personally I go for driver. Hamilton in my case, because he's British.

I had a big debate with a mate of mine who said he was really glad Hamilton didn't win, as he'd much rather see Raikonnen win the season for Ferrari. I don't understand how you can prefer to see your home talent lose out to another nationality... of an Italian team!

But I'm sure it's a split choice among many in F1

I go for Driver. I really don't dislike any team.

Last 2 years I've been hoping for Kimi but he seemed somewhat inconsistent. After that run in Suzuka 06 i was convinced... all he needed was reliability.

This year I've been a Ferrari and BMW fan.. but mostly for the drivers. I think there is great potential in these 4 drivers. NOt to downplay anyone... I just have these favourites

I agree Richay, but some on the forum have neither a national driver nor a national team to support in F1, so I suppose you're likely to get a spil-over effect towards the usual suspect, or not, as the case may be. Certainly Hamilton and McLaren in my book.

I definitely go for driver. Have been a Kimi fan since 2005; it probably helps that I'm half Danish and sympathetic as far as Scandinavians are concerned... lol.

I kinda look at it like "why should I buy a POS Ford just because it's american made and I'm an american"? Even when the Hass/Force F1 team were competeing, with the american driver Eddie Cheever, Ferrari was still the team I supported.

Too each their own, we may not agree with it, but that's life you know.
