Bnch of places reporting that due to Yamamoto's performance in Silverstone, HRT is giving him another drive in Germany.

Mo money, mo money, mo money.

If this is true, rather than pissing about swapping drivers, just replace either Chandhock or Senna permanently if they need the money that badly. It's ridiculous to swap drivers constantly, it destabilises the team and will ultimately speed up HRT's exit from F1!

I looks more and more like their days are numbered anyway. The way their financial situation is, they'll be bought out by someone.

I think it will keep the drivers on their toes though, knowing that they need to be on the edge or it is good bye

Shame that they don't do that for the England football team!!!

HRT really don't add anything to F1 in my opinion, if they were to disappear it wouldn't be a loss, I doubt anyone would notice they had gone to be honest; especially in the light of them being given the nod ahead of teams like Pro-Drive and Lola, teams that have motorsport pedigree and previous F1 experience.

I can see the roles of HRT/Virgin as teams being what Minardi always was. A testing ground to get a driver upto speed before moving to a better team.

I don't believe so as HRT are constantly going to need pay drivers which by default are not good enough, hence have to pay for a drive!

I don't think Richard Branson intends his investment to be merely that. He's going to expect more for his dollar...er pound than just a 200 mph billboard.

Yep but who pays for the new drivers? From Memory look how Williams got Toyota engines, OK it was not a pay drive but I am sure there was some sort of financial incentive.

Perhaps Richard Branson should drive himself, he's allways keen to try anything new.
