From what I saw, Vettel didn't seem to look Webber in the eye when he shook his hand. Not very sporting, he looked more like a child being forced to go over and apologise to the other kid he just pushed in to the mud...

Vettel DID look him in the eye. It was webber who didnt. See the pic:

Appeared Vettel did a drive-by handshake, would not square up to Webber during handskake. And again, Webber could have been squeezing the little whimps hand so hard he was trying to get away. :punch::punch:

No. Simply because I like him, he is a cool guy and I fount him the highlight of the Silverstone GP to me, I liked watching him climb up and he earn my respect that day. I think out of Webber or Vettel? I would choose Vettel each and every day. I look forward to the next GP

No offense but he climbed past cars that were 2-3 seconds a lap slower than his which in terms of difficulty to overtake makes it extremely easy, you could clearly see the difference in speed when 1 turn after passing a car he was already easily pulling away.

If he manages to actually overtake any of the top 7 currently in the championship leaderboard than i will give him some respect but currently he hasn't done that and i don't think he has even overtaken Sutil without Sutil actually making a mistake.

He is a good leader when he is out front on his own but as soon as he gets stuck behind cars especially those even close to the Red bulls pace he does nothing at all so he really isn't that great of a driver, its sad that the Red bull car is so far ahead of the other cars especially in Qualifying because i doubt Vettel would have half the points he has now if he wasn't being carried by his team.

True, he climbed up well when against much slower cars but what happened when he reach Sutil? He reverts to Vettel driving law number 1, 'if you can't pass on shear pace or skill alone, bump them out the way' :)

He's a quick driver, of that there is no doubt, I'm just not convinced he can overtake a quick car cleanly....can anyone think of an example? Happy to be corrected :)

The only drivers in the top 10 he has overtaken are Webber which i think i remember was a mistake from Webber, Schumacher who is just slow now days, Sutil who he waited to make a mistake, and Massa which i didn't see so maybe he actually did a good overtake or waited for Massa to make a mistake aswell.

So far he hasn't actually overtaken any of the better drivers or faster cars and probably has close to the lowest amount of overtakes so far aswell.

He's damn lucky to have got a safety car so he could get to the back of the field otherwise he'd have been 5 minutes behind Webber and Hammy at the end

Yeah but you have to make the best of whats thrown down infront of you.

Interesting read on SPEED. I wonder if Vettle forgot about airing out grievances in public as he was walking away from his car in Turkey doing the Mark Webber must be crazy universal sign.

Sebastian Vettel reportedly believes his teammate Mark Webber should have kept a lid on his unhappiness at Silverstone last weekend.

Although the controversial recipient of Webber's front wing in Britain, and accused of being favored by his Red Bull bosses, the 23-year-old German's voice has been the quietest throughout the latest saga.

At Silverstone he hinted that Australian Webber had shown his "true face," adding: "The most important thing is the atmosphere within the team. We have a really strong car and the only thing that can stop us is ourselves."

The implication is that Webber should have saved his grievances about the front wing so that it could be handled internally.

Germany's Bild newspaper now quotes him as saying: "I'm brought up to show respect for one another."

Referring to the wing saga, he added: "Such things do not belong in the public; they should be handled internally by the team."

Former driver David Coulthard, still a consultant for the energy drink owned team, agrees that Red Bull would have preferred if the matter had not gone public.

"Red Bull would doubtless prefer it if Mark aired his grievances in private," he wrote in his Telegraph column.

Nick Fry, chief executive of the Mercedes team, warns that Red Bull must quickly make clear to its drivers that they are not in charge.

"Drivers are a vital part of the team but they're not the team and that needs to be clear," he is quoted by the Sun newspaper.

"As soon as the lunatics start running the asylum you have big problems," he added

It's the thumb that's valuable, ask Alonso.

But its the finger that annoys!
