I know he's annoyed people enough with the front issue but that isn't really his fault. Though the pre race interviews, I found him a bit arrogant when he was talking about how "some people prefer brunettes, some prefer brown" with that smug smile on his face...almost like he's implying "well we did the right thing".

And I just found this as well:
Vettel put his start down to a sticking clutch and too much wheelspin.

"I think we were a little bit out of the window with the clutch," he added. "I had a bad start, lots of wheelspin, so I lost the immediate pull-away. I think we tried probably a bit too hard, but that's life - you try hard to get the optimum."

"Into turn one obviously I had to let Mark past and then I don't know if - I didn't feel anything - people said that Lewis touched me. As I said, I didn't feel anything," Vettel added. "Probably he achieved this time what he [Hamilton] didn't achieve in Valencia. Surely it wasn't his intention to give me a puncture, if it was like that [contact with Hamilton], but with a puncture early on in the race it's a big minus. I had to come back slowly to the pits. Then I was on the same set of tyres for the rest of the race. Fortunately the safety car came out so I had a bit of entertaining the last couple of laps."

Vettel went on to recover to seventh place while Webber took victory. When asked about Webber's comments after the race that his performance was "not bad for a No. 2 driver", Vettel made clear that the relationship between the two drivers had deteriorated.

"Well, I obviously focus on myself and sort of see, I guess - especially after what happened in the past," he said. "People have different opinions, I have my opinion, I have made my experiences, sometimes good and bad, and you get to know people probably a bit better and see their true faces. I think I learned my lesson, and I focus on myself."

I think people have seen more than enough of his 'true face'.... :yikes:

Seems to be a different person compared to that kid who blew them away in Monza.

The thing that has struck me most is his general denial. If I was him, I would be just as pissed at RBR management as Webber. Smug little punk living in fairy land.

Webber needs to play it a little more cool though...he is wearing his heart on his sleeve and risks turning support into alienation.

Vettel did seem extraordinarily smug today after the race; reminded me of another German driver that has recently rejoined F1! I was waiting for Mark Webber to come into shot during the post race Vettel interview; punch him square in the face and calmly walk off again, but alas sadly it didn't happen!

I like Webber but do think that Vettel is mishandled by the team which makes him look like a spoiled jerk. Actually, he appears to be a nice young man but has far too much unnecessary junk on his shoulders from time to time

Indeed. I like Vettel despite his increasingly annoying smug smile and finger waving. Not sure how long I could keep on liking him though if he carries on in the way he was on Sunday though.

I dislike vettle only slight less than I dislike Horner and I cannot think of anyone within f1 who I dislike more than Horner.

If Lewis or Jenson are not to win the WDC I hope it's Webber.

I did like Vettel a lot in the past - when he was the fresh faced kid with tons of talent and a friendly attitude.

It turns that he's an extremely flawed individual. He was happy and easy going while he was getting better results than Webber, but as soon as that changed he became a jerk. I remember that Mika Hakkinen was the same.

I'm disgusted by Horner, Vettel and that Austrian pig that took Vettel's side after the Turkey crash. People like these disgust me. I'll never buy a Red Bull drink again :-) It's about all I can do to protest.

I hope Webber wins the championship and leaves Red Bull as soon as his contract expires. Webber has impressed me enormously with his maturity and focus through these difficulties. He's got Vettel rattled to the point that I don't think he's got a chance of winning the championship. Webber is the master of winding this kid up, and then watching him explode. It's a great example of how maturity and professionalism triumphs. Webber is the most mature an professional member of the team - he's too good for them.

Vettle is now the Lindsay Lohan of F1.

But in all actuallity boys and girls, doesn't it seem as if F1 has borrowed a page from a typical World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. script? It's not enough to just be fanatical about your driver, we need to have a villain. We eat that sheet up.

I'm definitely starting to get annoyed w/ this guy....I usually avoid criticizing drivers based on their personality coz I believe that their personality should be separated from their racing ability but in this case, I just can't help it....The favoritism for Vettel by the Red Bull team is just too blatant...
