Alonso would of given it back had Kubica not retired so it cannot be the same.

Well Alonso thought that Kubica forced him wide. He waited for team confirmation. Once it was confirmed that he had to give the place back he would of had Kubica not retired. But since Kubica did retire and Alonso would of inherited his position, a penalty was not necessary. That is a fact.

If you overtake someone while riding over the kerbs and not on the track, you have to give the position back. There is no question about it and it's really not a place where to argue. Your argument that Kubica went out a couple of laps later is stupid. It's like the leader speeding in pitlane but because he's leading by 30seconds you won't give him a drive-through because it wouldn't change his position.

It's not the same because Hammilton had his chance to give back the position to Kimi, but didn't do so correctly and was penalised. Alonso didn't get a chance due to Kubica's retirement. It isn't the same you meaningless being. Get some culture. Here is a start or tip. Forget McLaren which is just another boring F1 team and follow a real team that is F1. FERRARI.
