whats the point of debating with the drivel from Alonso fans on here tonight? they arent logical posts that deserve anything more than what is given!

its happening every GP where something goes against Fernando, these bunch of Iberian Newbies coming on here to have a whinge and claims of conspiracy. If this is what this forums going to be like then im afraid the regulars wont bother coming anymore!

I thought that we had a good race at Silverstone today. i did think that Alonso's DT penalty was harsh, but i guess the stewards need to so something. If the car that was affected has dropped out what can they do? perhaps a 5 or 10 second penalty post race would have been fairer.
I think though that what we are seeing lately is too many fantastic leads are being jeopardised by the safety car. i think we need to have a look and see if there is any way that we can say (for example) if cars 1-3 are 10 seconds clear they will be released a bit early. the car is first has the advantage. i can only remember kimi overtaking fisichella as spa last year from the SC. And that was cos he let him, i still say the force india had that race but he "bottled" it. i think its something that should be looked at for 2011.

^ The problem is, if we do that for the leaders, it'd have to be implemented right the way down the grid for fairness.

i 100% agree, i was just using it as an example otherwise it would be a neverending post lol.

i dnt know what the answer is but i cant help feeling there must be some way?!

Haven't read through the thread, but all I'd say is that Alonso should have given the place straight back after unfairly taking it, simple!

Totally agreed if we werent mentioning the irrefutable fact that Alonso won the position to Kubica, wich forces him to allow enough spot for finish in safe conditions the overtaking manoeuvre.

 he won the position by cutting the corner! how can you even defend this?

With won the position im refering ofc to the fact of run in parallel fighting for a disputated place.
