Could it have been that Massa's 'ball's too the wall's' first stint running light fuel load's effected the outcome? It's seem's to me that had something to do with it and Kimi started on a heavier fuel load thus allowing him the extra 2 lap's, not to mention those two extra lap's were blazer's.

Which would be a breach of the sporting code re. team orders: how dare they sending those two fine drivers out with such vastly different fuel loads!

Dont the driver's have a say so in what fuel load's and tire's they want to run?

McLaren had to give their drivers the exact fuel loads for Brazil so they werent perceived of favouring one of them! funny huh!

I meant no sarcasm, just so everyone know's, I was just unsure if F1 driver's had a say so in those choice's.

"any fraudulent conduct or any act prejudicial to the interests of any competition or to the interests of motor sport generally."

Exactly. This means that you can manage strategies according to each driver's and the team's interest, as long as the reason to do so is a 'competition' matter. i.e. there has to be some logical competition involved in strategies. And of course, simple favouritism does not count as 'competition'. This is not a popularity contest.

So then why was Lewis considerably faster in Brazil and China?? Alonso couldn't even get close to the Ferraris and Lewis was setting fastest laps (at some points)... Yes, you can defend Lewis' abilities, but he's not that much faster than Alonso (if he's actually any faster than him at all).

1)Because, the same with any team, if a driver is heading out at the end of the season they don't get to see the new parts put on the car.

2)a)China is probably because Alonso was looking after his tyres, unlike Hammy.
b)Brazil, Alonso knew he wouldn't pass one of the Ferrari's so gave up, whilst Hammy was racing the lower order drivers so was pushing for all he was worth.

Fernando himself said he wanted to do a certain strategy for the Brazilian GP but was forced to have the same fuel load as Lewis in the name of parity!

and if you look at the lap times Lewis only managed one lap that was even close to the Ferrari's which was second fastest of the race! bare in mind that Lewis was switched to a three stopper while Fernando was on the two stopper so Lewis was alot lighter on that lap!

Lewis has outpaced Fernando the last two GPs of the year leading to Fernando to accuse McLaren of favouritsm afterall he cant stand being beaten by his team mate!

Yes I agree with Woodchip... and even with bud on some parts. Lewis' fast lap was not that signifficant, but his car seemed much faster on Lap 1 and Q of Brazil, obviously faster in Q China, and several other moments not worth mentioning anymore...

But anyway... the point is that I dont think Lewis all of a sudden became just faster than Alonso at exactly about the same time it became obvious that Alonso was flagrantly unhappy at Mclaren and his team boss admitted they were racing Alonso and not Kimi. No matter what talents Lewis may have.

Side note:
Was this a great championship or what! ... this happens only with such fierce competition :D
