- 11 Jul 10, 15:57#206577It's amazing that when Ferrari are dominant (up to 2006, anyone?), Ferrari fans are happy. When other teams have the upper hand, it's all fantastically unfair.
It's amazing that when Hamilton cuts a corner and gets penalised in a way that is ambiguous according to the rules (Spa 2007, anyone?), then everything is hunky-dory. But when Alonso cuts a corner and gets penalised in a way that is ambiguous according to the rules, then it's all an FIA pro-British stitch up.
In Valencia the stewards took a long time to make a decision and it worked in Hamilton's favour. At Silverstone, the stewards took a long time to make a decision and, together with the timing of the safety car, it worked against Alonso.
Incompetence? Possibly.
Conspiracy? Hardly.
I think all of you Alonso fanboys and girls need to step back from the immediacy of your annoyance and realise that sometimes the luck in Formula 1 just runs like that.
And frankly, I'm sick to the back teeth of all the anti-British rhetoric. Are you accusing us as a nation of being cheating, dirty and dishonourable? If so, then, frankly, you can all collectively kiss my arse.
