Anyway, didn't get to watch FP but heard that Hamilton is wringing the car by the neck and getting into some off track excursions too! Didn't hear much about Jenson though.. I wonder if he has this all planned out? I wonder, how does he plan to win this thing?
yeah, he is really wringing that car! i think going off track is part of their testing programme: gotta test that new diffuser under all conditions.
In any case, the lewster does seem to have a pretty good plan to win the race. Unlike Jenson, who was probably testing for rain set up. He probably 'knows' it will rain while everyone wasted their track time on dry set ups. One step ahead of everyone there. We know who'll be laughing when it rains...............

Really! lol, Jenson down in fourteenth but don't worry he has done it on purpose because he knows it will rain.
EDIT: to F1ea...
Sorry mate, Lewis is ready too. Apologise for dashing your hopes so early...

"Today, if it was ever important to be at my best in qualifying, then this was it," said Hamilton.
"I honestly feel it was the best lap I've done since I've been in Formula One.
"We've struggled all weekend. I've never run wide or gone off at a track so many times through Friday practice and this morning.
"But I've just remained optimistic all weekend, and as to where it has come from, I honestly think it has come from the fans.
"The optimism I've had is probably a lot more than I've ever had before, and I've carried that with me.
"Bit by bit I've adjusted the car, and although it wasn't perfect, I really strangled its neck and pulled out every little bit.
"I'm proud of the car. When I came in I was like 'well done, well done'."
Hamilton will now look to his car's race pace to elevate him onto the podium, and hopefully retain his championship lead, if not win the race.
"The gap to them (Red Bull) is nine tenths of a second to me, but that's how they always are in qualifying," added Hamilton.
"In Q3 they always pull out another half a second, quite a chunk of time, and we know why and we will catch them eventually.
"But in the race it's slightly different. Maybe they are going to have the race pace on us.
"I'm happy to do the rain dance tonight because I could happily do another 2008 here (referring to his win that year).
"It's really down to getting a good start because it's virtually impossible to overtake on this track. It really is."It's even more impossible than it was before I think because they have added another couple of faster corners, which is very, very hard to follow through.
"So we will have to rely on the team to do the best job they have ever done at pit stops, and for me to pull out every ounce, every millisecond during stints.
"I'm ready, so let's go for it."
