Good for me? Yes i think so, means i know more about logos than you :P but Business and marketing is one thing, graphic design and the theory behind it is another you see.

You mistakenly assume i have never studied design myself - quite the opposite in fact. So let's not have a childish one-upmanship contest.

Answer this, Why do Ferrari need this logo? What is wrong with the prancing horse on it's own?

Incorporating the words Scuderia Ferrari probably have something to do with it! It's not big bad Ferrari trying to subliminally advertise and get all the kids to start smoking, seriously. Even if it is, then they're doing a crap job.

They won't give up :hehe: would love to see the design brief....

But that is one ugly piece of design!

youre thinking its all about Ferrari arent you, thats all youre defence is. It has nothing to do with it, it could be McLaren for all i care fact remains they have gone and made another logo to incorporate their TITLE SPONSOR  which is why they do not just have their prancing horse logo or better yet just their Scuderia Ferrari type logo.

or as i just made, their old one with the Marlboro element removed.... whats wrong with this?

Nope, i just think any true likenesses are sketchy at best. Nothing wrong with your logo example either.

i dunno why but when i saw it i suddnely had the urge to go smoke some marlboro....

Weird.

Well Marlboro is Ferrari's major sponsor so in the end they have to be seen otherwise what would be the point of Marlboro sponsoring Ferrari. So this is a design trick that would work to make people think of the cigarettes when the see the Ferrari logo.

African and Asiatic males will engage in same-sex bonding and mounting. Such encounters are often associated with affectionate interactions, such as kissing, trunk intertwining, and placing trunks in each other's mouths. Male elephants, who often live apart from the general flock, often form "companionships", consisting of an older individual and one or sometimes two younger, attendant males with sexual behavior being an important part of the social dynamic. Unlike heterosexual relations, which are always of a fleeting nature, the relationships between males may last for years. The encounters are analogous to heterosexual bouts, one male often extending his trunk along the other's back and pushing forward with his tusks to signify his intention to mount. Same-sex relations are common and frequent in both sexes, with Asiatic elephants in captivity devoting roughly 45% of sexual encounters to same-sex activity.

So let me get this straight Ferrari actually makes a logo change that signifies nothing in regards to tobacco sponsorship but the whining continues?
