Id imagine the slowest 3 teams would keep the same men, not much points spending more money is their?

Dunno, i think Hispania might end up making a change for money reasons (ie to bring more in). I'd be surprised if Lotus made a change, they're pretty solid at the moment. Virgin... maybe Di Grassi could go, and they surely want to keep hold of Glock (an extremely capable driver, imo).

I'd also be pretty amazed if Williams changed their lineup out of choice. I can't see Sutil moving either.

Is it that hard to spell the man's name right? VETTEL!!! or whiny boy...

Anyway, I expect Williams to retain Barrichello, I have read a few articles that suggest that Barrichello will be retained for his developmental abilities. "http://www.planetf1.com/news/3213/6210516/Williams-Barrichello-is-important" states that Frank Williams said "Without Rubens, we would be nowhere."

I was thinking maybe Sutil might make a step up? Can't see force India wanting to get rid of him, but maybe Renault will go for him if their looking for a championship contending driver line up.

I think Hulkenburg could go up to Renault. I think he could suit them better, i think Petrov could move up to a better improved team. He needs that, He is good, but I think a new team need to work on that? The funds might be hard to find. He pays for the drive, I think Raikkonen could take it too.

Really can't see it mate. Hulkenburg is a Williams protege like Rosberg was - he'll be there for a few seasons at least, i think. Petrov will stay at Renault depending on the Raikkonen situation, if he moves i would bet it'd be to Sauber or another team that could do with his funding. He's done well so far, so it'd be a travesty if he ended up without a drive, all things considered.

Not to drag this thread miles off topic, which GP2 drivers do people think will show up in F1 next season? Maldonaldo is leading by a decent margin so far, but he's been in the series for 4 years now. Too long? And what about Jules Bianchi? Hardly set the world alight but is still young, and has F1 ties already...

There are a number of drivers that should stop wasting their best years in cars that will never improve much. Sutil being one of them. Also I don't expect Renault to be a race winner in the next couple of years, when you have those top 3 teams continually improving, busy leapfrogging each other. Perhaps Kubica has decided to become a paycheque player?

I can't see that being the case, especially if he was a real Ferrari (mega $$$) prospect. I think Renault will struggle for a win this season, but I can certainly see Renault winning a race or two next season. Given that they are under new ownership and this is effectively their first season, they have done amazingly given what a dog of a car they (Renault as a manufacturer) had last season. Kubica has the talent to challenge for wins, I think Renault will be one of the teams to flourish under the budget cap next season!
