Ron - my car is a baby Ferrari, honest. It even has the same side repeaters that Ferrari use on the 360 ;) And if you had that truck over here, it definitely wouldn't be deemed 'ordinary'!

Saz - I think you and I have a different opinion of what constitutes a shed :)

Ordinary?? far from it folk go mad for the american trucks over here, they do some pretty whacky stuff to them too, not always good though!!

well mine has a 5.7ltr V8 hemi in it and a 28 gallon fuel tank - not someting I would want to have the burden of if I still lived in Blighty!

you pay extra tax for the engine size over there now?

or are you talking about the extra tax because of the extra fuel used?

both lol tax on new cars, is now measured on engine omissions so the bigger the engine the more you get stung!!

This is my current vehicle an '02 Toyota 4Runner 4x4. Sorry for the large pic size but it's one of my favorite's.

This is a pic of my next vehicle not this specific car though, I have been saving for ALONG time, and hope to buy a late '70's or early '80's GTS model within they next year and a half. Gotta buy myself a sweet 45th birthday present right 8) !

Same cars swapped around - I washed them today - dont they look clean!

i just want to point out that I took those pictures today (November 3rd 2007) and that is heat haze coming off the vehicles! Sorry but being a an ex-pat I love to rub it in with my fellow Limies about the weather here (currently 80f)

I've got a Y-reg royal blue VW Polo 1.0E.

It's not terribly quick with only 50hp but it is very comfortable and ultra-reliable. It handled much nicer once I figured out the rear tyres needed a couple of psi more pressure than VW advise, but the handling's still not exactly progressive. The controls do have a really nice feel to them, especially in view of the brakes and steering both being power assisted. One big black mark is that the servicing is very expensive, but you easily save that in petrol.

I´ve worked in Galveston, Texas, and the beach was pretty much like the one on the photo.
