F1 is meant to be the pinnacle of motorsport. How can it remain there when they aren't allowed to develop?

The FIA might as well force every team to use the same engine. A decade is way too long.

there will be faster bloody Fords in ten years time than the F1 cars!!! F1 cars symbolise mechanical and automotive advancements, it will be a very sorry time for motorsport and motoring in general!!
