It's amazing how some people justify things.
If this had happened the other way around, all LH fans would be fuming and calling FA all kind of names.
It's somehow amazing and starting to feel tired of all the crap that get leveled at FA as if he's the worst driver ever (personality wise).
All top notch drivers are in the same boat. We have seen LH, SV, MW, FA complain and whine about almost anything and everything.
But somehow it's only when FA does it, it seems that the skies fall down.

FA did not say that LH deliberately passed the SC. His outrage was towards the SC timing, the stewards and the rules since you can't have the outcome of a race decided by ambiguous rules.
FA could have finished 2nd or 3rd in the race but ended up in 8th because of the SC. That's what his anger is about.
Why should he be fine with such an event that ruined his race and robbed him of points that could decide the WDC.
I have no doubt that LH would be as upset and outraged as FA is.

If it had happened the other way around we would bitch, for sure. But ultimately we're so used to Hamilton getting screwed over by the FIA's decisions that I, for one, don't bother getting worked up about it anymore. You have to take the rough with the smooth, I'm afraid - and Alonso needs to learn that.

What are these times that Hamilton has gotten screwed over by the FIA? I can only think of one time he was punished that was even questionable.

I understand that most people on this forum are English and only care about Hamilton. I'm not, so I don't have a horse in the race. I was just very disappointed as a race fan to see this race turned into a joke by the FIA.

I just think the backmarkers shouldn't be rewarded by pitting first just cause they haven't passed pit lane yet. If the FIA wants this to never happen again, it's pretty simple. Don't open pit lane until the safety car picks up the leaders.

If Hamilton was in Alonso's position, he would be bitching too. Leave the bias at home and exam it from an objective POV.

You have a point there, but maybe it was all calculated and leaving Alonso behind the safety car was part of the plan?

Interesting comment given Webber has historically been regarded as one of the toughest opponents to pass regardless of his position on the track. Sounds like the pot calling the kettle black to a degree.

What i find more frustrating as a fan is that form that last race it seemed that Ferrari have incidentally gone backwards? rather than forwards? Even if Alonso scored a well deserved 3rd? No difference has been made? RBR and McLaren still out drove him, the only positive that can be took from the overall race was that Massa came up? And was 4th, but due to Mr.Webber's incident he did shoot back rather fast down the pecking order. So the Engine has made no difference to them, so they need to make drastic changes. Whagt frustraes me more is that Kumi overtook us? What is that about? So a pant pulling down shambles of a race weekend. We have had one decent race and that was 9 Grand Prix's ago.

McLaren i can see only improving slightly, there already Mega and so is RBR. We just need Ferrari to do some catching up to spice this up!

They didn't screw up they wanted to protect the medical car because somone had been potentialy seriously injured and deal with making the track safe. - this is why the safty car did not wait to pickup the leader and why it took so long to annouce the investigation.

The FIA then wanted to make 100% sure Hamilton had been at fault, so they checked the in-car fottage and then had to wait for arial footage of the incident before they could punish Hamilton.
