I don't think Ron should resign, yes he probably did cost Lewis the WDC over the tyre issue in China, but think of all the pressure and stress he has been under after a certain person caused certain problems

He is a F1 driver!!!!!!

What about stress and presure??? He isn't playing on a playstation.

The demise of FA's reputation - if he leaves McLaren, he'll be an also-run next year whomever he'll end up driving for.
The rise of LH to stardom - still much to learn, but definitely a diamond in the rough.
The redemption for KR - an unlikely but well-deserved championship in his first Ferrari season; only Fangio achieved this before him.
The tribulations of FM - long in contention, but bad luck (for the most part) hampered his success; he showed his team spirit in the last few races and will be a contender next year.

Mishaps/errors/bad decisions in team McLaren - RD has some questions to answer and should resign.
Mishaps/errors/bad decisions in team Ferrari - JT not up to snuff all by himself, RB is missing and should be hired again.
Surprise team of the year (well not really to me) - BMW; they kept their heads down and just went on with the program.
Disappointing teams - Renault  , Honda :P , Toyota

FIA/stewards's performances received rather mixed reviews - time for some changes in procedures (consistency in application of regulations/penalties and clarification of rules) and personnel.

Politics Politics and more Politics! Clouded a lot of the action on the black stuff, but we've all known to grow and love the soap opera that is F1. I was certain Michelingate was to get F1 on the front page of every American newspaper, I'm not sure about Stephneygate, I'll wait for one of the more respected journalists to release a book or two on the whole saga.

As for the last race, probably the most exciting race of the season, had me on the edge of my seat, still the little monkey on my back is telling me Lewis' problems were a load of sh!t and that the end of the season was engineered. I would like the little monkey to go away, maybe it was too many years smoking weed in my younger days. Lewis should have romped it home, and this is coming from a McLaren hater.

BMW, I am their new fan. No drama's, no primadonna's, no politics, head down and hard work, loving it.

Red bull, very excited about next year, they just have to get reliable and let that Adrian Newey flair run it's course.

Honda/Toyota/Renault just embarrassing.

What's going on here Dali... I agree with almost everything you said. But you shouldn't have spoiled the picture by painting Dennis as someone who needs to resign.

This season was great and extremely close. The whole spy crap was a dark shadow, not only for the spying, sabotage etc, but also from the politics and management point of view... hopefully never again!

I'd like to think that all cars being on the same tyres helped the competition... but then again, maybe it gave more relevance to Aero and Engines, and thus allowing only Ferrari and Mclaren to compete for front row... hard to say... but some teams really made big steps, others sank miserably.

As for up-and-coming talent... this was the best season of the decade. If the FIA really commits to making F1 more competitive, the coming seasons will be fantastic.

The fact that 3 drivers finished within 2 points of each other sort of sums it up, shame about all the political bs that comes with the sport but I really enjoyed it. Kimi a fitting winner and some knowledge gained by Lewis & Alonso.

I said the 20th Century

And in the 20th Century McLaren won more drivers championships which is are ones that count.

The WCC is a sidebar, as Flavio admited a couple of years ago.

Mclaren were the better team seeing as they made their debut 16 years later than Ferrari

Sorry for my error. The WDC is what matter's most to the driver's and the WCC the most the team so wouldn't the overall number of win's in each category for a particular team add up to their overall success?

I cant seem to locate the stat's of which team, McLaren or Ferrari, have the most win's in each category maybe you can help?

It's a moot point - I was highlighting the stupidity of any comment that suggests Ron Dennis cannot do his job.

The Spanish just have this extreme hate/denial thing going because Ron would not hand Nandy the title on a plate and made him earn it (which he did not.)

hahahaha very funy ahhahahaha,

Who earn it? Hamilton? hahahahah, that rookie who confused the PLS (pit lane system) button.
Stupid strategy, i never understood why the alonso's car was so slow.....if alonson and Hamilton had been in pole (1º and 2º), mc laren had won the title. But the Big stupid Team with Ron Denis ahead, decided to make the alonso's car slow..... the rest is history.

Now Ferrari is the winner,

I am happy for this, no title for england AGAIN!!!
