So am i the only one who thought we looked bloody good going forward yesterday? We just lacked an end product sometimes, and obviously got caught on the counter attack seemingly EVERY TIME. Argh. :(

We were average-to good going forward but it was the defence that was just sundy league standard.

Italy?

What that is questionable. Are you farken serious? Italy has one bad campaign and you want to write them off. You have some farken nerves of steel pal! And Italy are more successful than both Grmany and Argentina. And even if Argentina win this world cup Italy will still have 4 world cups to Argentina's possible 3. (they currently have 2). Only Brazil has more than Italy with 5. And on a technical note, Italy are still the current world champions up until someone else wins in around 2 weeks time. And England is in the same league as the countries mentioned. That match against Germany could of went any ones way despite the final score line and Frank Lampard was robbed of a clear goal. Anyway you sound like one of those morons who like to claim that Serie A is on a decline. Really I don't see how that can be. Inter are the current European Champions are they not. And in the last 10 years Italian clubs have won more UCL titles than English clubs as well. 2003 AC Milan, 2007 AC Milan and 2010 Internazionale Milano. English clubs are 2005 Liverpool and 2008 Manchester United. So Italy are crap compared to Argentina, Brazil and Germany? Keep farken dreaming idiot......

Think it's about time a UK football team was made, it's funny the only time the true national flag of the sovereign state of Britain has flown at the world cup is on the backs of Australians and Kiwis!

mate all the people i know who are scottish or Irish (NI) were sending me texts laughing at Englands defeat, and i'm a united fan so i don't really care that much.

I'm half Irish half my cousins (from northern ireland) were taking the piss out of England (prob also because there united fans :P)

Scotland hates England doing well, it won't ever happen.

Might of been worth it in the past for Giggs perhaps. but i can't see any decent players in Wales.

Scotland perhaps Darren Fletcher and Alan Hutton

and Northern Ireland there might be a few potentials two young guys in City and United currently but nothing current.

Its not the English players skills as individuals the problem is because there are so many forign players in the Prem it means that each clubs play style is very diffrent, so United dosn't play the same as Chealsa.

As a result the English players find it very hard to work together because they are used to playing so diffrently at club level.

But they are going to put a cap on the number of forgin players in each club in order to get more english talent in the premiership.

This is why the Germans are so good as a team, because in the German legaue its mostly German Players

look at Bayern Munich compared to Arsenal
