kobyashi has potential, imagine what he could do in a ferrari, mclaren, redbull etc.. But then again, imagine what anybody could do in one of those cars. :D

The FIA haven't got a clue....which is really sad. I don't see what the fuss is about, neither Lewis nor Mr2times was the leader of the race. Vettel was.

Normal SC operation is to let everyone pass until the leader arrives. Lewis and Alonso could've passed, I don't see the confusion and still don't get the fuss about all this. They just take simple things and confuse the hell out of them in every race.

Another joke is the "5 second" penalty. I'm sorry, has this ever taken place before? The normal penalty is 20 seconds. Guess this 5 second just spawned on the 27th of June 2010, welcome to the world Mr New Rule.

You know what, this will be deleted!
why did you start a thread that is already being discussed in another thread?

Not quite Bud but it will be merged into the Valencia GP thread!

Webber's crash could have been so much worse and in the words of David Coulthard - "We've seen one of motor racing's luckiest days".

Jeff Krosnoff was killed in a similar crash and a Japanese F3 driver was killed in a horrendous accident where his car went into a bridge over the track. There was also Ralf Schumacher in 2002 and Villeneuve the previous year which killed a marshall.

Webber is one lucky boy :eek::eek:

Hamilton's penalty was the harshest and mostly swiftly issued penalty of the day by a long way. All others who broke SC rules got 5 second penalties after the race was finished. Does anyone know why so many cars ended up speeding during a SC period? I don't recall anyone having broke this rule before today.

Rosberg did it at Suzuka last year, but got off without a penalty because there was a low fuel warning on his steering wheel which covered up the minimum lap time that had been issued.

For the poor little girls and boys who are calling Lewis a cheat, lol, it's not quite working out for you is it. Wait! Lewis should not be leading it's not fair, let's do anything to keep him from winning, it's just not fair blah blah blah.

It eats you up to the point of madness and obsession to think that Lewis is delivering the goods week in and week out, you really though that Michael poo Schumacher was going to hand him his bottom or Alonso eyebrows was going to put the boy in his place or Jenson in the same car would show Lewis what it's all about, lol , guess you were wrong.

Now you come to the forums crying into your keyboards and beating up your girlfriends/boyfriends in frustration, you are finding it hard to not show you real reasons why you dislike him, especially the yanks on these forums. You might as well pack up and stop watching now because it's going to get more painful from here on in, especially with new updates coming for Silverstone, it's really is going to hurt. Alonso's obsession with Lewis yesterday was cringe worthy and embarrassing to say the least, the car he has now is just not good enough, that's something he needs to take up with Ferrari.

All Lewis has to do now is come in the top three in every race and the WDC is his. Jenson needs to stop making excuses about not being able to overtake, just admit you are not in the same league as Lewis or Alonso and be thankful you are not driving for Virgin.

Anyway poor boys and girls, see you at Silverstone... :wavey-finger:

Hamiton is a cheat. I hope he eventually gets what is coming. He stuffed up ferrari's race. What a waanker! The penalty wasn't enough. Something really needs to be done about this. Hamilton je proljev i je crni pićka!!!!!!!!!! And I hope all those cars getting investigated get 30 second penalties. Alonso and Massa deserve to finish a lot higher!

How can they with the crap cars Ferrari have given them?

Ever heard the saying 'you can polish a turd all day long but at the end of it it's still going to be a turd?'

OH my arent you guys bad losers. I remember an incident where the very same "Alfonso" weeny WON a race when his teammate was ORDERED to CRASH and bring out a safety car!!! Havent seen him handing back his points or his winning trophy............ :yikes:

I think FA should be penalized for jabbing too much on his radio rather then DRIVING his car ....... Had he been as good as he (and a few other) claim he is, then he should have been AHEAD of SV, LH, JB and KOY in this race and not BACK there in 9th. Oh and typical, now the car is up to no good too! Ferrari should upgrade the driver not the car .... :whip:

All you FA fans and mister moaner himself should STOP RACING Lewis Hamilton and get on with the JOB of racing an F1 race.

Shut up. Your post doesn't even try to engage in the quite detailed debate we've been having on this issue. You're just trying to stir up more ill-feeling and I, for one, am heartily sick of it.

The spanish and italian media are getting themselves worked up into a massive state over this. They're calling for Charlie's head (including influential spanish journalist antonio lobato, who is openly supporting a campaign to get rid of CW and have less Brits in the FIA). Who knows, if they shout loud enough they might get their way. Which would be a bad result - mainly because it risks turning the whole issue into a nationalistic thing. If you're going to get rid of CW, do it because he's not doing his job properly (failing to send the sc out in time to pick up SV, for example), but don't get rid of him because he's british - that's ridiculous!

Unfortunately this World Cup spells 'nationalism' and the fever might be extending into the F1 circus as well. Now that England are no longer in it, let's hope the Spanish take a chill pill and sit back on their trams and assess it carefully. Lewis was actually hard done by the stewards. He was the ONLY driver to suffer a drive through (which costs around 10 seconds minimum) while everyone else had a 5 second penalty. Lewis was stripped off his chance to win the race.

If anything, they should be calling for the heads of the FIA who just can't manufacture a proper SC rule. Let's not forget how these new SC rules were born (pit closed during SC, time delay during SC, etc) - all this started in Brazil 2003. The star of Brazil who crashed into Webber's stricken car and admitted he was pushing to make up places during SC and ultimately, cutting the race short. If any of you have doubts regarding this 'star' just go back to the home news page and look for the guy practically screaming for Lewis to be banned from F1. He drives a Ferrari, but not very well. :hehe::hehe:

Kobayahsi? Amazing. British were dominant, 2nd & 3rd which is good. Ferrari's were no where to be seen.

Well i think they missed an open opportunity. Which has caused them lack of points, I'm hoping for a strong performance on British soil.
