4-2 then. England was a disaster today and they did deserve the defeat, get over it.
They have a few ok players (not one goalkeeper XD), but they can't work as a team.

Well actually we are now playing crap.

However, the guy in the FIA who wont use technology to check goals..I think its max Mosely, this is his new job!!

The defence was shocking proberly would of lost eitherway but that goal shouldn't of been dissalowed.

I doubt it would of chagned the game by much but phycology is a big part of football.

England have been poor all tournament and frankly deserved to be unceremoniously dumped out of the World Cup today. They gave the Germans way too much space leaving David James very exposed which ultimate caused this humiliating defeat. For a team that collectively get paid tens of millions each year; it was a piss poor performance. My bet is that Capello will quit when he arrives back in the UK; great manager at club level; not so good at international level; qualifying well is one thing, but if that performance can not be emulated in the tournament itself; those results are worthless. Hopefully this will cause a shake up of the way English football works as players like Rooney, Terry, Lampard, Gerrard and co get automatic places and consistently fail to perform on the big stage in an England shirt!

I wonder what the study of algae would have to do with football - ah, I see, maybe because the algae started to grow on the English players' shoes since they were moving around like octogenarians :hehe:

You cant make Capello the scape goat on this, England have gone through something like nine managers since 1966, surely all of them cant have been wrong? I seen 11 reasons on the pitch why they lost TBH.

Bottom line is England are no where near as good as the media like to pump them up to be, they have won the world cup once ....ever! and that was probably more due to the fact they were the host nation than anything else, if they were as good as the media would have you believe then they would have had a bit more success than they have had.

Basically.......yes!

But every world cup the media hypes them up, the fans all start believing the hype and start thinking "we can really do this" then it all goes horribly wrong and everybody is left scratching their balls wondering just where it has all gone wrong.

I am not making Capello the sole scapegoat; but he has to shoulder as much blame as anyone; he picked the 22 players to go to the world cup; he picked the strategy... the players are as much to blame; 22 individually brilliant players; but can't play as a cohesive unit and it seems that no one player was willing to be a leader including the captain, Steven Gerrard and that comes from a Liverpool supporter. Something is really wrong in the England camp; we haven't played this badly in a world cup for what I remember!

I don't think anyone other than Capello thinks that England played well; and this has been the case for a while; Steve Maclaren was fired because his team failed to perform; how many of those players that failed to make Euro 2008 made it into the 2010 world cup squad; the mentality of having certain players always play is a seriously flawed one; just look at Rooney he hasn't scored a goal in 8 international games, not a good record for England's supposedly best striker!!!

Think it's about time a UK football team was made, it's funny the only time the true national flag of the sovereign state of Britain has flown at the world cup is on the backs of Australians and Kiwis!
