Kevin Dudd or Kruddy has lost alot of support over the last few months and while Juila Gillard has gained alot of support and appears to have the numbers to get the top job. It is a lose-lose for Labour beacause even if they get Gillard in Tony Abbott from Liberal will be laughing his head off. He'll get alot of votes from Labour because of this. Jeez the Greens might be in within a chance because Labour/Liberal are shocking atm....wait did I just say that

If Julia Gillard wins the leadership challenge today she will be Australia's first female PM (Although alot of State governments have female leaders). She will also be Australia's first Ranga PM too :P

When Canada got it's only female PM(not in an election, by becoming party leader) that party went from a majority to 2 seats in the next election! It was 1993 IIRC Not because she was a woman though. The party had become unpopular and all the key men jumped ship(retired). Went from an old, historic, one of the 2 major parties, to now effectively nonexistent.
