In a crash at Silverstone in 1977, David Prley wa subjected to the highest G-force that a man has been known to survive. His LEC F1 car decelerated from 108mph to zero in just over half a metre. That works out to a g-force of179g :yikes:

29 fractures and heart 6 stopped times.That must be just about as close to death as you can get. :eek: To make such a good recovery aswell is beyond belief.Although Martin Donnerly was also lucky I remember

I believe he was 'only' 100G.
Kenny Brack was 214.

But yeah, those are some amazing things and show how amazing the human body can be sometimes.

Those scenes of Purley trying to save Williamson's life are awful :(

Yes they were very moving indeed, I could feel his desperation. Images such as those I do not care to ever watch again although they will live within me until my demise.
