its funny we all have our favourites on here but you? who do you actually follow all we know from your post history is you passionately hate Lewis. Ah but Gaz, they do call him a robot. He's a trained PR machine told what to say one minute, the next he's opening his mouth when he shouldnt and 'saying things' . C'mon guys its one or the other!

Thing is some folk just dislike him and since they cant have a go at his driving cos he's driving superbly, they pick any other stupid little thing they can.

But this is a thrad about Mclaren's golden age... and how they get along so perfectly. The part of their respective driving has been left (somewhat) to the Lewis vs Jenson thread... and I'm sure there's very little objections to how both of them are driving. Doesnt mean their invincible, or perfect. They BOTH have their strenghts and weaknesses (drivingwise).

However, on the getting along part... there's been some arguments both ways. Evidence shows: they DONT get along perfectly. The situation is better that when it was with Alonso, but a lot has changed since then, and not necessarilly just Alonso and his fear of getting beaten

this is the lamest 40 page post its like arguing over apples vs oranges. It's all on who you like there aren't any statistics to prove who's better.Naturally Lewis has lots of fan fair, but is hated by many for whatever reason; Button is rooted for but underrated and overlooked at times. I say

Why should he do your work? If you actually read/cared or paid attention to some of my post you would find that Bill is correct .

I know you were asking Tex, but I'll throw my two cents in. Actually, lets rank them in order of which I like least.

1. Lewis Fans - typically far to one sided for my taste. Love to rant about something one driver does (schuey, Alonso etc) but then defend to the death if their driver does the same.
2. Lewis - Perhaps it's just his age and he does seem to be getting better now that daddy has been sacked, but I don't like his lack of respect for other drivers in the past, nor the never-ending number of his mistakes that he constantly blames on others.
3. McLaren - Actually in any season where I cheered for one team, it was McLaren. Can't say I've been impressed with them lately though. Cheating, lying, playing driver favorites...lying and cheating again. Scandal after scandal. Makes me sick thinking of how great McLaren used to be...

Bill do you not get sick of saying the same old thing over and over again they've not cheated since Oz 09 every team does somthing dodgy look at SF using a media day to shake down a part on their car.

To everyone else, we have seen this argument time and time again and there is no sign of it ending My take is Lewis isn't perfect; yes he is a talented driver but this season he has been erratic and frankly his behaviour has been somewhat to be desired. But this sort of impetuous behaviour seems to be more the 'norm' in F1 right now... If Vettel/Hamilton can't take the heat get the hell out of the kitchen, F1 is [supposedly] a man's sport; no room for whining kids.
