With Kers comming back in 2011 Renault and Ferrari have their own systems obviously Mercades also have the best system of all going off 2009.

However, will Mercades Supply Mclaren with a system or will Mclaren be left to develop their own.

OR with Mclarens Roadcar Launching in 2011 will they choose to develope there own system anyway

dont mean to go off topic, but im not sure kers will be a good thing.. not sure if the new teams will be able to build a reliable system and have their straight line aerodynamics as good as the top teams

well it was a joint effort the 09 system so i would think they would continue to go down that path.

I don't think they will i think they'll do an intial Kers system but then develop it separately.

Well then welcome to F1. Nobody promised them a level playing field with teams that have been doing this for decades. Learn fast, or enjoy the back of the pack.

It's not spec racing.

I thought the KERS systen was more McLaren than Mercedes, from one of Ron's other parts of the Mclaren company. Have I got that round my neck?

Because i don't want to repost the massive article in another thread, see here:

In light of Mercedes' apparent unwillingness to go along with the proposed changes, McLaren might be sensible to make their own system and try and steal a march that way... i'm sure they learned enough about it from using the Merc system in '09 to get a decent foothold.
