Unfortunately that means nothing as most teams with the exception of Germany have been very cagey in their first games, which has been disappointing; I was expecting Brazil to absolutely hammer North Korea, but it wasn't to be and I thought that the Ivory Coast were the better team against Portugal!

Well, that's a turn up for the books, Spain beaten by the Swiss... and it could have been 2 - 0... or 2 - 1... the Swiss defending resolutely, great game from the Swiss.

It looks like the hosts, South Africa could be heading out of the competition at the group stage being beaten 3 - 0 by Uruguay! I hope that South Africans still attend matches or else we'll be looking at stadia half empty, although that'll mean a lot less of those damn annoying vuvuzela's!!!
