Lets be honest Schumacher did some 'double blocking' yet it was Massa who ran into Schumacher, breaking his front wing, so the blame for that cannot nor should it be put on Schumacher. Not much difference between the Webber/Vettel incident imho.

I think you were watching a different race Tex, Massa did not run into Schumacher, it was the other way round and he forced Massa onto the grass, but don't take my word for it, watch the following clip onboard Massa's car. You will notice at 1m 22s in why your assertion is wrong

Sorry but you are wrong the line and corner was still Schumachers and his to defend so there was not much defense on his part going on. Maybe you were watching a different race ? The video clearly shows that it was still Schumachers to defend if necessary. Show the part were Schumacher ran into Massa?? I've been watching this stuff for 30yrs and have a great eye for such things but I do appreciate the video because it proves you wrong and me right once again.

Looking at the video of Massa's onboard, it looks like Massa simply ran into Schumacher's left rear wheel knocking his wing off; rather than Schumacher pushing him into the wall but it does look like a double defensive move which is not allowed under the rules, although that rule seems to be largely unenforced!

Schumacher took the inside line leading up to the corner, he had the lead so the line choice was his , and clearly Massa was not close enough for it to be considered blocking when Schumacher came left to open up his entry into the turn.

In both cases; Hamilton in Malaysia and Schumacher in Canada; it's about breaking the the slipstream tow, Massa was close enough to benefit from the slipstream effect; I really don't see the difference to be honest. Was the contact actually Schumacher's fault, NO! Massa failed to react! but he did make a double defensive move, the question is the interpretation of the rules; are drivers allowed to make only one defensive move under braking or is it considered a defensive move when still hard on the power. If it's the later Schumacher is guilty, if the former is true then Schumacher is innocent and it was a racing incident!

Two totally different scenario's and I find it hard to believe that it is not obvious. Some only see what they want to see and not the obvious truth right in front of their eye's with video to prove it. I'll blame Schumacher or any other driver all day long for an obvious illegal move yet that is not the case here. Too many lambs and not enough true racers here imho.

I think I know the answer...To why Schumacher wasnt punished for that move on Massa. Its because the FIA punished him unfairly for that move on Alonso. This was pay back to Brawn for not challenging that decision

Two totally different scenario's and I find it hard to believe that it is not obvious. Some only see what they want to see and not the obvious truth right in front of their eye's with video to prove it.

I don't see how it's a different scenario with the exception of Hamilton making more defensive moves. And it is not obvious even given the footage; it comes down to personal interpretation of the incident; even commentators and experts (BBC coverage) thought it was Schumacher "being naughty". Bottom line the FIA elected not to punish Schumacher, it's over and done with now. The bigger problem is the clarity of the rules, the expression "clear as mud" springs to mind!

That thought crossed my mind as well, Schumacher shouldn't have been punished for the move on Alonso especially given the confusion and lack of clarity on the rules!
