I don't see why the BBC Don't incorperate this style timesheets:

You hear them saying alot of the time, that X has the fastest lap or something like: Hamilton is fast in Sector 1 or Vettel is now the fastest in Sector 2 and then you hear them sometimes say stuff like:
Hamilton is fast in sector 1, green sector 2 or sometimes: Badoer is purple in sector 1 and 2

Those who don't have the F1's live timing up or don't know what this/dont use it don't know what they are on about. :|

I'm not sure if the bbc get all the display information from the FOM feed.

Although, that looks like a good idea, at least it'll keep me alert in boring races trying to remember what all the different colours mean. And it means I'm less reliant on Legard to tell me accurate timings.

They have a hard time just getting the names of all 24 drivers on screen! Color coding for lap times is a great idea though. I'm sure they'll be able to implement by the 2027 F1 season.

yeh lol just after we get HD in 2026

Whaaa? you guys don't get F1 HD coverage???? Damn. if I scan the HD channels, I'm sure I can find HD badminton coverage.

HAHA

And yeah the Beeb have no real control over the feed. They can only control the pre race and post race coverage as they use their own team for that and are able to switch between the world feed.

However, come 5 mins to the start of the session they throw to the world feed and are powerless to really control anything.

FOM's coverage has also become more centralised, I miss the days when you had host broadcasters. I'm not sure how influential they remain in the traditional races, but FOM have a big hand over the newer venues.
