Did any of the Aussie people on here see the interview Webber have with 60 minutes earlier this year?

If so, I would HIGHLY, HIGHLY dount he's signed on to be Vettels ragdoll.

I really hope that is the case as Mark have proven to be a top driver after years in no-mans-land driving cars that are not capable of winning races.

I wish he wouldnt sign. I wish he'd beat Vettel and give the fingers to Red Bull. Guess it depends what else is available to him.

Basically RC, anybody that challenges McLaren gets a finger right? For McLaren fans, last year was Brawn, the year before it was Ferrari.

what an idiotic comment  , I know for a fact Racechick likes Webber, and the dislike to the RedBull team comes from the way he was treated at Turkey. McLaren doesnt even come into the picture. :banghead:

Thats correct. I didnt have any dislike of the team before Turkey (Vettel yes). And i didnt dislike Brawn last year  Marks probably my second favourite driver and i dont like to see him shat on.

Wait, hold the press, you telling me that somebody doesn't like a team based on ONE RACE? and not their whole body of work? And how was Webber treated at Turkey? Last I check he finished 3rd and collect points, he wasn't asked by RedBull to block Vettel, he didn't caused the accident rather it was a racing incident, so how is he treated unfairly at RedBull giving that he just got a hefty raise and signed through next year.

My comment was more of sarcastic, I think people need to start changing their diet because there's to many belly aching going around.

Yes someone doesnt like a team based on one race. Im the someone and thats correct. (You'll find hundreds more on the Red bull website-read the comments there-and these were Red Bull supporters before Turkey)

Webber was shafted at Turkey.

Hefty raise. Is that hush money?

I actually really liked Red Bull before Turkey; they had achieved a lot in a short period of time, the events of Turkey has tarnished my opinion of them as a team; the whole "we win together and we lose together" slogan which was admirable before Turkey but now I really don't believe a word of it!!!

It's a bit like; he seemed like a nice chap before he murdered 5 people!!! A little extreme as analogies go but an accurate one!

This was sent to me on Facebook from a friend in Bristol.

From James Allen on F1 www .....Last year after the race at the Nurburgring, I went into the Red Bull motorhome to congratulate Mark Webber on his first Formula 1 victory.
There was no sign of Webber, but team principal Christian Horner and Dr Helmut Marko were deep in conversation next to the bar. Both looked pretty serious. Webber had won the ... See morerace while Vettel had finished second, largely due to being rather tentative in qualifying, where he ended up fourth. I watched him very closely that weekend and spoke to him several times and I felt that he was really feeling the pressure of a home Grand Prix where you are expected to win.
Mark Webber’s partner Ann Neal came out of the drivers’ area and walked across the room. One of the team said something like, “Isn’t it fantastic, Mark’s win?” To which she replied rather tartly, “I’m glad someone around here is pleased.” And indeed it did seem more like a wake than a celebration.

All this conspiracy is making me dislike F1 now. And what makes it worse is that its all bull (no pun intended).

Mark Webber signed at RedBull DOES NOT MEAN that he is being recruited push Vettel to the finish line.

Have any of you just thought for a moment that Webber might have been signed because he is fast? Maybe because of the amazing speed he showed in the last few races?

If Mark was ready to boost up Vettel why would he have won in Brazil last year? Surely he could have dropped a few seconds and taken out Button for his Master and allowed him to continue in the title race?

This is Formula One. Not the Mumbai Police.

Its just F1 and how it has been for along time now so don't let it get you down  .

I think the majority here agree with you. :)

I believe you have it wrong for the fact that most are supporting Webber but are just having concerns as to why Webber would sign another 1yr contract with a team that clearly does not support him.

Refer to my previous post.

Tell that to Horner :D .
