I'm ashamed to say I've never seen Easy Rider but I have seen Apocalypse Now and True Romance, and the guy was a legend. Very sad news indeed.

I remember him most for being the villain from Speed and also that awful Super Mario film.

I think I'm the only living human to actually enjoy the Super Mario Movie. I'd forgotten he was in it.
