The wheel got stuck under Chandhok's car and then got chucked out harmlessly in the tunnel. But what if it had been thrown up and hit the person behind Chandhok? That (depending on speed) could have caused A LOT of damage.

Dont think the FIA will want to get some more attention to the fact that they had loose drain covers in their "glamour event".
Sure, Rubens shouldnt have thrown the wheel... but he hit the wall hard and those covers should have been secured in the first place!!

I'm sure they will just give Rubens and the other drivers some small warning and let it be...

Let's not be concerned about a heavy manhole cover which caused structural failure in Rubens car and the resulting crash. Rubens must be punished for all the "what if's" and "could have's" for throwing steering wheel which lodged under Chandhok's car during a yellow flag/low speed pass by Rubens wrecked car. Now that I'm through slapping some of you around a bit, can you blame Rubens for being pissed. The FIA and track marshals let Rubens down.

Of course Rubens was pissed if the manhole cover wrecked his car. I was very very pissed when the same thing happeneed to juan Pablo a few years back. But it doesnt excuse an action that could have caused another accident.
It just seems bizzare to me that nothing was done when drivers get penalised for overtaking, or because the stewards ,marshalls and the FIA dont know how to interpret their own rule book.

Should the track be tacken to task about the loose cover? Yes it was dangerous. But it was not deliberate.
