Geez, what a bad pic of this Nissen dude, looks all banged up.

Anyway, looks like F1 is growing on them people's cars manufacturer...

Got burned in a crash.

Seems he had quite a few crashes.

Nissen started racing in karting, and was twice Danish Champion in 1976 and 1977. He was Danish Formula Ford 2000 Champion in 1982 and German Formula Three Champion in 1986. in 1987 and 1988 he drove in Japan with a Porsche 962 in the All Japan Sports Prototype Championship. During his time there he was involved in an accident at Fuji in which he suffered serious burns to his body and face.

He has my deepest respect for remaining in the sport. Come on in VW...F1 could use you...provided you aren't too busy building SUV's etc

Yeah, the Cayenne still makes me want to vomit...

It would be good for F1 if they decided to join.

How abaout the Panamera??
I love that one.

well, this is definitely good news. In my case I would be delighted if it were Porsche. There simply could not be a better name returning to F1...
Audi would prob be better for the group... but Porsche :cloud9:

Looks like Jean Todt has a big job on his hands. I hope he can turn things around for F1, and as "we the fans" have also rued all the scandals and garbage... seems the big people hate that also. Seems like 2 things Jean Todt has to sort out to bring F1 back to glory:
1) Regulations (make them believeable and planneable for the long term involvement)
2) Avoid scandals and BS. In other words: return to the f'ing sport!

The rest should fall into place.
Amen.

Porsche!! yay

I think they will only come in if they can use Diesel engines as VAG seem to like using them

I'd say: sure come on in and use your diesel engines, but only if you run them on recycled French fries oil :P

Would the smell from the engine make one want a cheeseburger to go along with their fries, this could be a great marketing ploy here so don't underestimate 'the smell':P .

"Ooh, ooh that smell
Can't you smell that smell?"

Whichever actual badge they put on it, Porsche, VW or Audi I hope they wouldn't limit themselves to an all German driver lineup a la Merc.
