I don't want to see F-ducts banned, and I don't like the fia artificially banning stuff for cost cutting measures - either put a cap on or let the teams spend what they want.

FIA isnt banning it, its FOTA agreeing not to use it much like the KERS systems this year are allowed in the rules just a gentlemen's agreement not to use them

its a worrying trend, IF one team comes up with an innovative design that makes them hard to beat.. other teams, instead of copying it and applying it themselves can just outvote the team who invented it and vote not to use it. Could see some rifts within FOTA if this does end up happening.

Alot can be said for the basic's of areo efficiency without all the little do-dads thought up aswell. We have all, well most of us, agreed that the latter years of F1 provided the best racing and they got by with the basics so why can't we now? I applaude the ingenuity behind the F-duct concept but I would also like to see somewhat of a return to the basics.

That would just be another class of drag racing .

Substitute GRAVEL TRAP with HARBOUR; take away the barriers; let's see how quickly the drivers can get out of a sinking car; that'll liven things up!
