From what I read it was a puncture:
http://en.espnf1.com/spain/motorsport/story/16634.html
I also saw at the race that it looked like the tire blew. But yeah... Hamilton-hatenist. Its a new religion.
What kind of paranoia is that? Someone says that a rim failure (which is still the suspected cause) on Hamilton's car looks like it was a mechanical failure or design fault, and you come up with "Hamilton-hatenist. It's a new religion." What kind of weird thought processes made you come out with a statement like that?
It makes no sense, does it?
It means that i have said Hamilton got a puncture, based on what i read on the link above and what i could see from watching the race. And yet, because of that, i am called a Hamilton hater... (read a few pages back). So, i'd just make things easier for the Hammy-crew....
you know how hard he would have to hit somthing to hurt that rim lol?
It can't be that strong, or it wouldn't have just broken by itself.
No the suspension would break first before the rim everytime!
Its happened twice the other way around. So... is there some kind of design feature the MP use that actually load the rims harder than other cars??
I dont know how the Mclaren suspension/rim/wheel/brake design distributes the loads amongst the parts. I do know the MP has a very good mechanical grip compared to the others; and that its failed the same F-L twice in the same circuit, a circuit that puts high loads on the F-L... hmmmm makes me think, something is up that's above our knowledge......... and I dont think it was another mere coincidence.
I think its disgusting the way certain members have spoken about the spanish fans. Yes, the way a handful of morons have acted is digraceful, however the vast VAST majority of fans from spain are decent people enjoying racing
judging an entire countrys opinion on something based upon a tiny collective of people or a single organisations ideology is insane
as for the blue flags apparently not being waved often enough for LH due to bias, some people on here really need to grow up
also on a little side note
i find it extremely hypocritical of Racechick to criticise people who are pleased Hamilton went out when only a few weeks ago she was gloating about Alonso's sudden exit
Its called a DOUBLE STANDARD

The rest is conspiracy theories born when their pseudo-logic fails. It's happened in the Schumacher era... it happens now. Will always happen unless it is 'their' character winning. The "english" crew gloated about every single mistake MS ever made... to the point of minimising his championships even because of his teammates' credit!
As I remember, Lewis' title came when he had his weakest teammate. Is it a worthless title?
Came out fighting indeed.
