It's always the same with Toyota. Throw money at something. Alonso is on $39,000,000 a year, not including sponsorship deals etc. There becomes a point when it's only numbers on a page.
What Alonso wants is a winning team or a team he can perfect and make a winning team. Toyota are not that. They have too many people in gray suits at the top interfering. Renault are not out and out winners with the same potential as Ferrari, McLaren and what BMW are starting to show, however, they are race winners at least and if circumstances played out for them and with some of Alonso's skill they could be an outside bet for titles.
