It's illegal here to do any of that stuff; talking on the phone, texting, etc. There've been too many deaths from it. Handsfree phone is allowed but for some drivers that's clearly just as bad.

i talk via bluetooth in the car, but yeah its illegal to even hold a phone whilst driving here too. but I laugh at the guy in the video making a fuss about the iPads functions, i can do all that already with the iPhone. The only thing i would get the iPad for is for digital painting. some pretty good apps for that!

It is also illegal in California, state wide. Galveston,TX has also followed suit and here in Houston it not fully instated except in school zones. I'm all for the handsfree setup but you are right about that not even being suitable for some drivers.

As bud said the iPhone can handle most apps and if your vehicle is Bluetooth there ya go  .

I just rented a car that is "powered by Microsoft" so I would like to say it's been nice knowing you all and goodbye as it's bound to BSOD and lock all car controls.
