Human nature really. They've put McLaren and Dennis through the mill this season, so cannot be surprised when they return the favour when given the opportunity to do so.

Do all teams get to see all team readings at the end of a race as a matter of course? Or have Mclaren just decided to rake through and see if they can find fault with anyone just for the sake of it? I doubt even Lewis would want to win this way!

Unfortunately it isn't up to Lewis, Ruby. As Raithrover rightly pointed out, why should McLaren sit back when they may have a perfectly legitimate case in insisting that the teams that may have broken the rules were instrumental in perverting the outcome of the drivers' '07 championship results? The stewards apparently thought that fuel irregularities were evident in three cars that finished the race ahead of a McLaren car. I see no reason whatsoever to not dispute the outcome of the race, whether it be the first race of the season or the last race of the season. The fact that Ferrari would then have to suck hind tit with regards to the driver's championship would doubtless afford an extra frisson to a successful appeal.

I know, just mentioning that he probably would not want to win this way.

I very much doubt, even if any gain from the fuel temperature is proved, it would have made an ounce of difference to Lewis' race. He was too far behind. The words 'barrel' and 'scrape-age' come to mind. Kimi deserved that title, and no matter what happens that will always be the case.

Even LH the guy who would take the title from Kimi says that it should be left to let lie and that Kimi deserved it, yeah so McLaren appeal's and get the title, they will not gain any popularity from it and this will be the case every season, it will be something different every year, more playground fighting.

I wish he had done it while with McLaren mind. I was rather hoping to see some raw emotion from him at last  ........bitterly disappointed

I saw the most emotion from Kimi I have ever seen?

Yeah, he was bursting with uncontrolled emotions... Kimi's way, of course. 8)
