Honestly, for all the money they pump in to advertising these days, I'd like to see Hyundai give F1 a crack! not a traditional motor racing company I know, but viable, and would potentially have a decent budget behind them.

I would love to see a genuine Lotus team back in F1 ... not the current faux Lotus team which in reality is nothing more than 'team Malaysia'. I find it sad that an iconic brand such as Lotus can be bought and its nationality changed. Imagine for example, if Ferrari was bought by a rich foreigner and the team became a South African, Malaysian, Russian, Japanese (insert nationality of your choice) team ... how upset would the tifosi be? Anyway, I'm digressing ... 'real' Lotus definitely.

Porsche. With complete Volkswagen behind them. There's enough money and knowledge to make good entry (or, at least, get good soon enough). Plus, I'm a Porsche fan - when it comes to sport cars, in my head it was always Porsche vs. Ferrari (well, at least until I was 10 )

Won't be much of a learning curve, they've already got the rear engine, rear wheel drive thing down pat.

problem there is they are in alliance with Renault, they both have the same CEO! With Renault pulling back on it's commitment to F1 I font see them using their Nissan marquee unfortunately.

With all the talk of small 1.5 ~1.8 liter turbos, It would be interesting to see Saab as an engine supplier.
