Why did i instantaneously think this thread had anything to do with all the locked threads around here. Something about DD appears to be a bit itchy..

anyway - good for Alonso.

Most of the locked threads have been justified IMO, there's been too much personal digging on here lately.

No. There are very little if any Anti Hamilton people, and whichever reasons they have (as I have seen in most of the posts) are not only known to themselves as everyone has been completely open with the criticism... what's the point on posting drivel only to get a reaction? (i'm not saying no one has ever done it, but whoever does it is only wasting their time and everyone's) the problem lies within the reaction itself.

I'm going to say it again: if people are going to feel personally attacked or offended just because someone mentions something un-godly about Lewis then yes... there's going to be a million (unfairly) locked threads.

If you want to look at examples... you only have to go to the Schmacher era.
There's a handful of mistakes made by Schumacher that have basically plagued him for life. There's not a single discussion about MS that doesnt end with the Barrichello hand-out. And its easier to forget the man has 7 WDC and i dont even remember how many yrs in the sport, because of that handful of mistakes.

Not only that, but if you saw his (MS) reaction on that same race's podium you'd now he was not happy about the situation and openly admitted the mistake. Now you have Lewis, people mentioning mistakes he's made and its a personal vendetta or obssesive hatred towards the messiah and his followers.
