Whatever it was it is not 'allowed' anymore...
funny thing is, it hadn't been necessary to explain why it was not allowed, although i'm sure everyone understood why. Now it is (explained). So the case may rest in peace.

Another interesting thing is... Had the blocking/weaving/draft break been done to Lewis i'm sure there'd be outrage!
in fact, how come the others haven't done that before? Because no other driver is able to swerve the car left and right? sure, Lewis is that much better than the others  Same with the grassy pit entry move. c'mon get real.

Sure we want racing. Out of tons of good racing moves made by Lewis and lots of other drivers... everyone is caught up with the 2 WRONG ones. Those moves were out of order. The other moves weren't. Keep doing the others...... STOP doing the stupid ones. simple.

Why is it so difficult to see??

I miss Senna... he would have taken the :censored: out.
Vettel and Petrov need a good "What Would Senna Have Done?" lesson :hehe:

Whatever......

Racing drivers will always push the rules to the absoloute limit Lewis saw what Petrov was doing he didn't want to loose the place so he tried it on.

It was exciting to watch but he got told off for doing it.

There was outrage when Lewis did it, i don't think it would of been any diffrent for other drivers.

Your just taking a shot at LH here rather than making any actual sense.

Having ago at the Pit Entry is just daft he didn't harm anyone, it was just a very late call.

What about Your man Nando doing Massa in the pits, if that was Lewis on Massa or Nando you'd of been screaming for him to be banned.....as usual.

Yeh dead simple mate, he's doing 200mph and he's got to make a decision somtimes he's going to make the wrong one.

He's done 32 Overtaking moves this season and pretty much all of them have been clean, some have been spectacular.

I didn't see this much fuss for when Webber decided to play F1-Bumper Cars with Lewis and Massa etc.. in Oz.

Senna did as far more controvisial things than Lewis sounds to me like you simply just don't like LH and choose to moan and moan about it.

How come hardly anyone else push this rule?
But like you mentioned, he got told off, so that's it. It should be given a rest.

Ahhh sure, there's always a scapegoat. Thing is... it was NOT the same move. It was very different in:
1) Alonso stayed on the track... Lewis took the grass, basically cutting the 'corner'. Should have been a stop-go (or whatever the penalty is) right there.
2) Did you know it was actually Alonso's pit stop? Massa just got caught in a mistake and had nowhere to go. But the stop was planned to be Alonso's.

What do you mean? there was no fuss??
First of all, it was a mistake. Not the result of a reckless out of order move. Webber had no intention of ramming into anyone. The 2 moves we're taling about here were deliberate. But again, like i said. its only 2 moves... it doesnt mean he should stop racing.

Senna did as far more controvisial things than Lewis sounds to me like you simply just don't like LH and choose to moan and moan about it.

Exactly. Senna would have taken the sucker out and controversy over. :)

Cutting a Corner into the Pits = being giving a stop and go? I'm sorry but i've seen that happen loads of times and no penalty be given?!

i'm not having ago at Nando or Massa or Ferrari i thought it was quite cool actualy, i'm just saying if that was Lewis you or some Ferrari lambs would of.

There wasn't a huge post about it "webber-ramgate still rumbling on" it was dropped pretty quickly

You need to stop trying to put words in my mouth also no where have i suggested he should stop racing lol

But yeh i think Webber was pretty wreakless thoughtout the Oz Gp Lewis and Nando did more overtakes than him and didn't piss any other drivers off.

Alomost everytime webber attempted an overtake it resulted in a black tiremark along the side of another drivers car or somone being off the road.

Yeh and if that "sucker" had been a Ferrari driver say in 1990 and they'd of had the internet back then a Mclaren fan and A Ferrari fan would of been "disccusing" it.

Cutting a corner into the pits.... actually never's been done before hehe. But cutting a corner + gaining position + not surrendering it = stop and go. And releasing a car when another is in the pit lane is supposed to be illegal under this yrs regs or something.......

Webber apologized and owned up afterwards (that's what real men do)... that goes a long way into shutting up any "rumbling"

Oh and by the way... i meant stop racing in the sense of 'stop going all out'... i dont think it was aimed at you though.

yup. But he'd never do it again, even when he's judgement is "clouded" from racing all out at 200 mph :)

Webber's move in the Australian grand prix where he rammed Lewis was probably the stupidest thing I've seen in f1 this year. I've watched it a few times and still don't have a clue what he was thinking.

It was plain to see Webber was desperate for a win in his home GP, his desperation for the win started to cloud his judgement hence his silly mistake hitting Hamilton. So what he fcuked up, so what Hamilton swerved, this is supposed to be the pinnacle of motorsport not some jumped up boy scout day out on go carts.

1) Did Lewis gain a position? i don't belive so.
2) Lewis didn't knock another driver off the track? no so why should applogize for a non-event.
3) whut?

****ing exactly Gaz. Maybe some of our oversea's armchair experts (ahem) would like to watch a procession every G.P, no risk, no drama just piss poor boring processions. It wasn't blocking, he was racing, get over it and move on

Surely being the pinnacle of motorsport means that Webber screwing up is a bigger deal?

What a lame shameless pathetic attempt to rally support to your opinion... if you (had half a brain and) supported your opinions with reason you wouldnt need name calling nor rallying your "undersea's" experts to your cause.

Apparently the marshals and other drivers agree with the rest of the armchair experts, because... yup the moves were reprimanded. Not only that... but you can be sure this will not happen anytime soon without a penalty. But yeah... If this is the kind of risk and drama you want, then by all means go ahead and play Mario-kart or something; i'm sure you'll have lots of fun. I'll stick to Gran Turismo or Forza Motorsports... where real men are made.

And now... with grace and reason on my side, I humbly bow out.

Well TBH as far as I can see it there is no big deal, it was ashame it was Lewis he took out after all the overtaking he had just done but hey it could have been anybody TBH.
