The car is good. Its problem is reliability and their strategic race... what they (Red Bull) need to do is not make strategy mistakes and their drivers need to be better at charging and fighting in the field. Examples of what not to do when behind/midfield: Massa, Red Bull... Examples of how to face being behind: Alonso, Hamilton, Renault.

Red Bull havent been unlucky. They just havent been perfect as ussually Mclaren is.
For the past 3-4 seasons Mclaren has been pretty much perfect in the races (strategy and team stuff)... Ferrari, Red Bull and so on do make mistakes. You can't really call that unlucky. Ferrari made the mistake in Q in Malaysia that was not un-luck, Alonso made the mistake at the start, that was not unluck. Red Bull screwed their strategy, that was not unluck.

Mclaren gave the wrong tyre call to Lewis -that wasnt perfect. They screwed up quali in Australia-that wasnt perfect. And in China the red bulls were on the same strategy as lewis.

Red Bull were unlucky with their two failures when Vettel was on for wins. Also they are amazing in quali. I think in dry running they'll be quick. Didnt Lewis say at the beginning of the season, something like 'the red bulls are insanely fast'?

Doesn't matter how fast they are until they get their racing and reliability in order.

I said... Ussually.
And in any case Mclaren didn't screw Lewis' strategy in Aus. They made the best choice with the conditions they had on hand. Had they taken the same route with both drivers and that route was wrong? Both drivers out of it. What they did... Was pretty good for the team considering BOTH drivers abilities and strenghts.
That Lewis wasnt/isnt able to take responsability for his decisions doesn't mean the team let's him down. Look at his entry in China... He was undecided. Indecision doesn't mean the team screwed your strategy little Lewis.

Red bull... Well unreliability is not 100/ bad luck. It sucks, but its not pure luck.

 It's a bit like what Brawn were doing last year, except their car was also the quickest at the time. But as a result of them doing it (And Red Bull not even managing to be a serious threat later on thanks to their troubles), they had a big lead to manage. Which gave Red Bull all the work to do.

This year is another example of how Red Bull has a top notch design team, but still has a comparatively weak, immature race team. It'll get better no doubt, but for now, they can't translate their pace into a good race

He also confirmed that Sebastian Vettel had hitched a lift in Bernie Ecclestone's private jet.

"He was lucky and managed to get a lift with Bernie Ecclestone, who I understand went to Istanbul," said Horner. "Sebastian got another flight from there to Nice and drove home from there - so he got home before all of us early on Tuesday morning. Predictably Bernie beat all of us back. I phoned him from Glasgow, very proud that we'd landed on British soil, only for him to say that he'd already been in the office for three hours."

Hmmm, what were those two chatting about during that long flight? :scratchchin:

It's a well known fact that Bernie is basically in love with Seb.

I just realised something. doesn't the Topic title imply something of a sexual nature towards Vettel?

As in, "MMM Vettel anyone?" ;)
