And in plain English?
Is that a medical procedure you're having?

I love watching how teachers react to OFSTED inspections, it really does provide me with endless amusement. It was funny when I was a kid at school, too. Behaviour was poor, lessons were constantly disrupted and the week before, we'd have a huge assembly and the head teacher would tell us all to be on our best behaviour. So teachers, for once, actually planned their lessons and students, amazingly, sat still for a while. Then as soon as they were gone, back to throwing pencils, walking out of lessons and taking the piss out of teachers. :hehe:

Being one of the quiet students, I just kept my head down. Anyways.

Hope it went well and that your school gets a good report. One of the sites I support had their inspection on Monday and Tuesday, which meant I got put in charge of the main site whilst one of the others was sent down there. The teachers down there were all running around like headless chickens, too. Meanwhile, those of us who are prepared for such inspections get to sit back with a cup of tea and just relaaaaaxxxxxx 8)

We only get two days notice. I always plan my lessons but the paperwork is ridiculous. I have 6 planning sheets each week (thats normally, not for OFSTED)and my kids are 4. What bugs me is they havent spoken to my kids,or looked properly round my classroom and asked why i do things, but they have asked for documents about procedures and have i read this gudeline and is that documented. They are currently obsessed with safeguarding. Im a teacher, thats what Im good at. Not an office worker.
Roll on the weekend.
Hey Dent, my kids dont behave badly

I know what you mean. I've seen a few occasions where an inspector will pop in to a class right in the middle, for five minutes, and make their judgement based on what they see in that ridiculously short window.

Yes, but your kids are four, not fourteen :hehe:
