I guess this shot was taken shortly after LH was released and joined SV.
If my memory serves me right, shortly after this shot LH managed to pull to the right and his tires were clear of SV's tires but LH kept racing him for the whole length of the pit lane.
It was clear that there were no cars being serviced nor there were any crews outside. So LH had the space and time to pull couple of feet to the right and clear SV but even when his tires were clear of SV, he maintained his speed!!!
As for the pit lane entrance, I believe both LH and FA were wrong.
Vettel had no reasons to move to the left for Hamilton.
Vettel was slightly ahead of Hamilton, therefore, had every right to keep his position.
Vettel knew that if he had moved to the left, Hamilton was going to try to pass in the pits.
It should have been Hamilton's job to slow down and realize that Vettel was not going to let him by.
But what do I know...I'm no Hamilton fan...
Hamilton could not have passed Vettel without exceding the speed limit so Vettel did not need to do what he did.
Vettel had no obligation to Hamilton to give him room but if these tyres touched there'd be the possibility of Vettel becoming airborne so to safely slow down Hamilton would have to go further right, but that would take him even closer to the pit equipment. Both extremely dangerous situations considering other people in the pitlane and on the pitwall in that pic.
