Manipulation rumours have been going on for years, even back in the early 80's Colin Chapman thought FISA were biased towards Ferrari, and then for years we had Balestre helping Prost politically.

I think certain decisions and rulings have fallen in favour of particular people in the past i guess that could be manipulation. The only really severe case i can think of is piquet 's little stunt.

Money involved in F1, only what they rake in. It's like the WWE of motorsport, they con us with these supposedly huge sums the teams reportedly pump into development but under the random shaped bodywork they all have the same chassis and engine with no development work, they manipulate the results by remote control, boosting one car or breaking another and make up scandals to increase media coverage and increase interest.

Oooh - conspiracy everywhere!

Shades of "Speed Racer".

Add Abu Dhabi to that...

I'm joking by the way...... the FIA MAYBE has some political bias and they may go an extra mile to help some teams enter or whatever... but other than that, the racing is clean. it has to be. Far too many unknowns to try and "fix" races, too risky and too many interests that could conflict.

F1 is too expensive for the teams... i dont think these teams are going to be spending millions for a sport that is fixed.

Stonemonkey is joking as well. If i know about something... its about BS hehe

And what about Hungary 2007. During qualy. Alonso is changing tyres to make a last fast lap and Hamilton is waiting behind him. When Alonso is ready to go he waits several seconds. That cost Hamilton to make a fast lap and qualify on a bad position.... That could have cost Hamilton the championship too. But Alonso was penalised. That could have cost Alonsos championship....
In the end we won't ever know who is pulling the strings if at all (hopefully!)

Manipulated ? probably :

In China Alonso passed Massa as they were heading for the pits .

They both pitted as the safety car was called out .

Did Alonso passed under the safety car ? if so why was none of this mentioned.

Has the FIA ( Ferrari international Assistance ) been working it's magic again ?

'They' just want you to think it's expensive. All they do from year to year is get some guy from Swindon to make the moulds for 12 new fibreglass bodykits and tell the fans all this crap about windtunnels and CFD, how much is that gonna cost?

I never BS.

They showed the replay of the incident during the safety car period, it didn't happen then. It was Alonsos stop but Massa got poor traction out the hairpin and they found themselves on the wrong side of each other approaching the pits and Massa couldn't turn onto the main straight. There was nothing dodgy, they just tripped over each other.

Or maybe Bernie hit the skid button on Massa's remote control.
