Ah, good old Bore-Celona.Here's hoping McLaren can sort out the quali pace, front row would be a lot of help at Catalunya.

Plus, I want to hear Jakob say "AWESOME LAP, AWESOME LAP"

you noticed that on his twitter feed as well then

Noticed what on whose Twitter feed? "AWESOME LAP, AWESOME LAP" is what Shovvers said about Button's Pole in Catalunya last year over the radio. A phrase I have adopted as a refrain for whenever something goes my way

So who will bring new updates to Barcelona?...

Virgin Racing wanted to have new updates in China, but the plane couldn't take off due of the volcano. Anyway, if I'm not wrong, Virgin wanted to use their "new car"/"new chasis" for the first race in Barcelona. I hope for them to get some good results...!

Worst F1 race track; worse than Monaco and Valencia. Yes there's atmosphere with all the Alonso fanatics but the quality of racing at this track is appalling. Even the '96 wet race had only 6 overtakes.

This race will be a snoozer, guaranteed.

hope it rains.

...again

I think Red Bull will cry if it rains again on them. They should have as many wins as poles so far this year really.

lol no just because they have the fastest car over a single lap dosn't give them the divine right to always win.

its about building a fast car over race distance that can last the distance.

Well, it deffently won't rain. And the upgrades are going to be a big help I guess (fot most of them team).

Don't juge Red Bull so fast!

First two races: reliabilty problems :(:(
    3rd race: Winner
    4th race: wrong strategy

Yeah but as every one is updating, it cancels out each other

wouldn't say it was wrong stratgy for Red Bull its just that the car or the drivers didn't have the pace.

They did the same strat as Lewis and he was 2nd vettle was 6th Webber 8th.

If it would have been the right strategy, then they would have done as Button and Rosberg did! And of course they had pace problems as well.... they had a bit of bad luck as well.... but I belive that that the main reason to fail in China was wrong strategy (but then again, it was a chaotic race and very unpredictable....)

Yeah but as every one is updating, it cancels out each other

 (but some teams are going to do better....)

Anyway, the race last year in Barcelona was a little boring. But I still enjoyed the race strategy. Specially going to "plan B" for Button. Massa's and Vettel's strategy were really bad choosing a very short 2nd stint and therefore driving the last part of the race on hard tires which were more the a second slower than the option  . Another interesting point was that Massa was "out" of fuel... and had to let pass Vettel and Alonso. :banghead:
The boring part was to see Vettel loose his position to Massa after the first corner. Evidently he had a faster car, but thanks to KERS Massa stayed in front. And Vettel couldn't do anything on the track...

Not even a race in cars from the 50's would be interesting at Catalunya-wn, even if you went back in time and brough back younger versions of Moss, Fangio and co.
