I might turn to the dark side. I hate social networking, but Twitter does seem pretty awesome. I like reading about some drivers, Nico seems like a pretty cool guy....But i like reading what they get up too. Banning Twitter is stupid? Why do it?

No, they're not. They're State Socialist Dictators with a fledgling Entrepreneurial Capitalist Economy. If Marx were still about and he saw them or anyone else calling them Communists he'd die of embarrassment. Communist States are a contradiction in terms, and such criticism is even noted in the article you linked.
