He [BE] also said that no circuits would be dropped in 2011 when India joins the circus, adding that even if new grands prix in places like New York and Russia were introduced, there would be no cutbacks. "We're not dropping anything," he explained, adding the F1 fraternity should be "getting ready for 25" races in the future.

How long before we have a team rebellion? especially with the new budget restrictions coming next season; frankly Bernie is a greedy b*****d; trying to milk as much money out of F1 before he retires/dies, whichever happens sooner.

Or falls into a permanent coma and turns into a vegetable. Wait! Isn't he already a stunted dried up asparagus?

This is going to start putting the teams under a lot of pressure especially the team members who are working away from home for long periods of time.

I would like to see twenty races per season. If on average a race is held every two weeks that's 40 weeks. Testing is what a 4 week period. The winter off no shorter than 6 weeks to avoid the worst of the cold/hot weather worldwide. This is 50 weeks so maybe a max of 21 or 22 races per year. :)

25 is way too much, I think Bernie needs putting in his straight jacket again.

Yeah, me too. I'd have no problem with more races! And don't come telling about "budget cap" or to much costs or no time or or or... or are the teams still testing during the season??? Hmmm, let me think...: NO! So I don't see any problems for the teams to have more races....! Even better for them: more sponsoring.

I love F1, but I feel like 25 races is too many. That's not 25 weeks, remember, it's more like 40-50. That leaves virtually no off-season.

Yeah... you're right... But it is quite strange, that the only person to "design" new tracks is Tillke...??? May be he has some shares of FOM....
