I had battle with Lewis (Hamilton) in the pit lane. At the stop I was ahead; I don’t know why he pulled to the left and was keen to touch me. I hoped I didn’t get a puncture from that - I don’t really understand why he did that as I was a bit ahead of him and had the advantage anyway.”

Now i don't like these comments from Vettel because he makes it sound like he couldn't do anything. He pushed Lewis so far to right and he was just a little bit in front of him. I guess he can't accept that Lewis beated him badly.

Button does it again. He's taken two victories and beaten Lewis 3-1 in quali. I'd say without a doubt he's been driver of the opening flyaway races.

Ferrari got their strategies so wrong today. Massa especially. Everytime there were pit stops, they were pitting too late and losing posistions each time. Alonso fair play managed to make a great comeback, mainly after the 2nd safety car, he made use of some great oppurtunities. But none the less, Ferrari could have made so much more of today.

Red Bull apparently have problems they need to fix  Webber not giving details, so I'm curious what thats all about.

It was such as a lottery today, but funny little thing I noticed. It was Button, Rosberg and Kubica who all called it right today. The same three who were leading the Australia GP. You can argue it's luck, because if it did rain more during the first part of the race, those 3 would've looked silly after the first stint. But none the less, they all made the right decisions twice now.

In fact those pit entrances where complete legal.

Proof?

Except for the 1st entrance from Lewis... Tell me where's that rule.

there is no ruling on overtaking in the pit entry as far as i am aware, if there were Hamilton/Vettel and Alonso/Massa overtakes would have been under investigation.

And Bud not that I know Tex but calling him an idiot and a hypocrite isn't really needed. You always seem to be abusing someone, even after your team wins?
Surely you're better than that???

Excuse me? :censored:

he is an idiot for the comment he belittled me with which funnily enough is why he is a hypocrite!

now run along Juan and concentrate on your quality forum enriching posts on anything anti Hamilton.

Lewis was told to back off today because having them both come in is better than none.

I haven't seen any evidence of this they were racing to the line. Lewis couldn't catch Button in time because he had burnt out his inters only when Button lost tyre temperature did Lewis start catching up again.

It's just an excuse. At the end of the day, Jenson is currently performing very, very well. You can say that it was purely because of the tyre call, but then, Jenson made that call where Lewis and others didn't. Jenson also looked after his tyres better than Lewis and to be honest, were it not for the final safety car, Lewis probably wouldn't have finished anywhere near, but then that's just entering the world of "what ifs".

I thought Alonso was naughty to overtake Massa on the pit entrance, it put him first into the box for a tyre change and causing Massa a delay getting out. I think it was Ted Kravitz who said that Rob Smedley had smoke coming out of his ears after Alonso pulled that stunt

Hmmmm from watching the replays and replays... i still think Fernando got a clean start.
WTF was that!!?? :bs::bs::bs:
:banghead:

And how come Lewis/Mclaren was not penalised for that unsafe pit release AND entry. I thought that was illegal (the release). A couple extra enemies for Lewis in this race as well (though im sure hes not init for the friends) Good race, terrible sportsmanship for 2 races in a row

Great job by Jenson! in Q and in the race...... he is really doing the "cool" job and not letting get himself being counted out.
Oh..... and the Renaults :) that was great
