I hope Hamilton isn't penalised purely for a lack of superhuman reflexes in a lollipop man..
It was a pretty close call, would be harsh i think to penalise for a fraction of a second pit release difference. Its not like Vettel was already in the lane when Hamilton was released.
but if he does get done for it he will get a 5 or 10 grid place penalty for the next round.

Exactly, I think a 25 second penalty would be over the top.

Jordan on BBC said the release was a fraction of a difference between them, its just a racing incident and no penalty should be awarded.
However Alsono jumped the start on the 2 Red Bulls, the replay showed Charlie Whiting picking up on it, so thats where there should be a penalty issued.

The rules were changed for this year so because the incident was more than 3 laps before the end of the race you can't implement the 25 second penalty. The 25 second penalty is supposed to be a substitute for a drive through when the incident happens to close to the end of the race.

Brilliant 1-2 McLaren lead both championships

.The question still remains why was a penalty not given to Hammy immediately? If a 25sec penalty is given for the next race an accident or SC will negate said time penalty so whats the point of even giving him one now.
Perhaps Whiting aswell as Todt are recieving a per diem from Whitmarsh?
