New York Peak Hour street race :D

A Yellow cab holding off Michael Schumacher?

That's the Safety Car.

The second half ish of the IndyCar race last night saw some good overtaking, but F1 cars would struggle, mainly due to IndyCars having so much less downforce, no "dreaded double diffusers", they're wider and they have Eddie Jordan's most favourite thing in the world... :P

Ok, not really but it is a push-to-pass system.

Looks similar to Laguna Seca in places; even has a corkscrew style corner; if not quite as extreme. it looks like a good track; will it work for F1? probably not but in reality how many tracks work for good racing on the current calendar, better racing needs an overhaul of car design not track design, although throwing Hermann Tilke in the Tower of London would be a good start; why oh why do countries/owners get him to design their tracks; clearly us fans know nothing...

Road America

All it needs is some resurfacing in places, a new pit building and some run offs at the kink

Yeah, Road America would be pretty cool. Or even Road Altanta, although Altanta might be a bit short with lap times probably being close to 1:00 flat.

Road America would need a few fixes. Probably grandstands as well. A pit building. The question is, would they really care enough to renovate just to accomadate F1, and would Bernie go for it, considering that I can't remember the last time F1 went to a circuit that wasn't designed just for F1.

Should have a race on the Streets of Philadelphia

That's what i'm talking about. Proper food for the fans. None of the crappy burger vans at the circuits. :D

Great food for the fans!
In all seriousness, I would never pick Philadelphia for a race location, though.

Neither would I as I would have my philly overnighted and wait for the CNN/SWAT report on tv :hehe: .

 Philadelphia is great but many people don't realize that it's actually violent and trashy. It's not as bad as it was before, but it could definitely be better. It has its absolutely wonderful parts but once you get in certain areas, there's a lot of trash, sketchy people, etc. A lot of people I know are like 'Oh my god South Street is the best!' and they have no idea what one can find there. They don't go there basically every other week like myself, and they don't go into the neighborhoods. My mom is from there, sports a slight accent, and could tell you everything about it. Such a coincidence that I'm heading up there on Thursday for the Penn Relays, the highlight of my April :)
