1 London team gets dumped out by an Italian team and 1 London team thrashes an Italian team to dump them out!
Chelsea go out, Juventus go out and Liverpool could win the whole thing!
Fulham v Liverpool final anyone?
hahahaha the wrong London team went out and the wrong Italian team went out. I would of rathered Chelsea and Juve to win. But then again I was happy for the Inter win only because had they lost, the Bundesliga would of flogged 3rd spot from Serie A. Mind you all German teams should be out by now because Bayern cheated aganinst Fiorentina. It should be Fiorentina and Inter still in and all German sides out. I watch the Bundesliga and it is inferior to the Premier League, La Liga and Serie A. They are only closing in on Serie A because of lucky results like this and more importantly because useless cups like the UEFA Cup/Europa League count towards Europa Coefficients and the idiot Italian clubs hardly take it serious, whereas the German clubs do and this has allowed the current situation. And before you comment, yes the Premier League is nowadays more exciting than Serie A. But I wouldn't say the same for La Liga. That is almost like the Scotish Premier League. You have 2 dominant teams (In the is case Barca and Real Madrid) and the rest are all crap who always get thrashed by the top 2 sides. Boring if you are not watching the top 2 sides......
That is rubbish. The Spanish league is very healthy and is in a far far better shape than the "wonderful" Premier league in England. Yes Barce and Real have a monopoly, but Sevilla for one are hardly push overs and the football is far better. The Premiership is alot poorer in quality than Sky would have you believe. As shown with Portsmouth the majority of its teams are spending outwith their means.
Ummm I generally ignore what comentators say. Simply because they are biased. For example I watched the second leg of Man Utd versus AC Milan with English commentry. The commentator made the stupid (and insulting comment) that Serie A clubs cannot beat Premier League clubs. Just because on that night Man Utd simply out classed AC Milan and also bet them at the San Siro doesn't justify such comments. When Internazionale Milano (I like saying the name in full. Rolls off the tongue nicely hehehehe)bet Chelsea at Stamford Bridge after having beating them at San Siro, I was thinking about the commentator and thinking on how I would of loved to shove that one up his A-hole.

Italian clubs have bet English clubs more this season in Europe thus far. Ie Inter bet Chelsea twice, Firoentina bet Liverpool twice, AS Roma bet Fulham once and Juventus also bet Fulham once. English wins have been Man Utd beating AC Milan twice and Fulham beating Juventus once. And then there was the draw between Fulham and AS Roma at Craven Cottage. So that is 6 wins for the Italians, 3 for the English and 1 draw a piece. BUT if you ask me who has the more exciting league I would still say English. If I watch big Italian teams play in Serie A, it is generally good. If I watch say Siena versus Atalanta, it is crap. If I watch West Ham versus Sunderland, I still get some excitement. In the Premier League it is more physical and faster. The Italian like the Bundesliga is very technical. If you want to win, both styles are good as proven in European competitons, but if you want to see entertainment the English way is better.
As for Spanish Primera Liga, I get bored if it isn't the top sides playing. Yes Sevilla and Valencia are reasonbly ok as well, but of the rest of the league. Watching say Gijon play puts me to sleep. Watching Barca pass 4 goals against them is fun. But then again I am watching the big team thrash one of the other teams. In my opionion from what I have observed, the Premier League is the more exciting to watch. Doesn't mean they are the best in Europe but domestically it is more exciting than others. Then probably Serie A which is one of the hardest leagues to win and then probably the Bundesliga because of the closeness of the teams up top that can win it as well. Then I put La Liga. Simply if it isn't Barca or Real Madrid playing, I might as well get a pillow in case I fall asleep.
