Is it just me, or is the news coverage of the chinese grand prix very poor. I'm reading another F1 news-sites.... but there is not so much news out there...

I doubt any F1 fan is happy with any pre-race coverage they get but lookout for the post race tomfoolery.

Talking of coverage, I wonder if our good friend Eddie J. the sweat-meister will be skiving China again this year?

On that replyI think a jolly good 'oh thank god' is in order for us US fans who do not have to listen to him :hehe: .

Hamilton believes Red Bull and Ferrari will maintain the advantage they displayed over McLaren during qualifying in the very first two rounds of the season.

"I still think Red Bull and Ferrari are the teams to beat, the same as every race," said the McLaren driver. "Sebastian [Vettel] could be quite a bit ahead at the moment, but it's very close and I hope it will continue to be so."

So which is it? 'quite a bit ahead' or 'very close'?

"Very close" in points but "quite a bit ahead" in qualifying.

Williams' F-duct got left behind thanks to the problems with the volcano ashes, they were due to give it a shakedown during practice today. Still at least the team seem pretty happy today for once.

I could not bring myself to get up at 1am for practice but wish I had. I was not surprised to read that Hammy set a blistering pace to finish at the top in session two but what really impresses me is Nico and his pace this year. Looking for to quali  .

one of the red bulls will win practice 3 and qualifying, we should keep our expectations low i think.

I don't know why, but I found that session quite boring. Coverage wasn't the same without the sweat-meister there either.

The FW32 is the worst car Williams ever built, it's a dog of a car. At least the Hispania is getting quicker now and Senna wasn't far off Di Grassi.

Fuuuuckkkk.. my expectations were so high after Lewis had been fastest in Q1 and Q2, then he messed up in Q3 and position 6 is not a place McLaren want him to be today.. Jenson is starting to earn my respect, he can pull it together when he needs to. Red Bull is still too fast for others.. I guess we'll see a red bull domination tomorrow with Lewis trying to fight from the back against ferraris and Jenson.. depressing...
