Webber said " I lost the race in the first 500 meters"....Hang on wasn't there 56 laps in Malaysia??? Yes there was but F1 is so boring that the only action is in the pits,YAWN...Before you start yelling at your computer monitor just think about this...In Malaysia exiting turn 1 on lap 1 was Vettel,Webber and Rosberg...And what 3 were on the podium 56 boring laps later??? The same 3...How is that interesting...F1 may as well just be a 1 lap race as it was lost in the first 500 meters anyway wasn't it Mark Webber?????? :yikes:

I don't think you have a firm grasp of the concept of F1 and what is interesting or what is boring. Maybe F1 is not for you.

No I do not think F1 is for me anymore, I used to watch it in the days of Senna,Prost,Mansell and that was good racing..Now it seems like a game of chess where the managers play pit lane strategy and on track stays the same..And don't get me started on Team orders in the first race of a season either.... :director:

I sort of agree with Aussie Rob; F1 isn't the sport it once was; it is based as much or more on strategy than on track action. I enjoyed the racing much more in the 90s (92 - 97, when I first started watching), when overtaking was commonplace; wheel to wheel racing. Which does happen in today's F1 but it's few and far between and doesn't really happen among the front runners; as said many times on this forum; F1 needs to take a step backwards to move forward, imho!

Then stop watching it and you are not the only member here who has watched F1 since the Senna,Prost,Mansell days.

You just described most motorsports. In fact, the outcome of a great many motorsport events are decided in qualifying, and many of them see the same guys dominate race after race. In fact, while I don't watch or care for NASCAR, I hear lots of whining about Jimmie Johnson winning all the time, and their fans hating that predictability.

Yes indeed, F1 is boring... but you still get good action because of weather conditions or reliability. And there are some really boring tracks, like the GP in Barcelona...
But I don't belive that F1 is so predictable. Qualifying isn't predictable... race... a little bit... and the last laps of a race are the worst ones... alomst no action at all...
But lets hope, maybe we get more rain...!?

Oh really?

Yes! You now who is going to be the winner, runner up and third... at least most of the times!
